Capturing beautiful memories of your family is important, but it can be hard to find the time for a professional photography session. Most people only get their family photos done once or twice a year. Favorite season for family photos is always summer.  Kids have off from school, days are longer, weather is amazingly beautiful and everyone in looking nice with the summer tan ;).

I LOVE shooting family sessions on the beach during the summer.  Long Island has so many beautiful places and ocean’s beaches are my #1 requested location in the summer.

Perfect beach location for family sessions

I offer beach bay sessions as well as ocean sunset sessions. And you can choose the location that best suits your family. My favorite ocean beaches are in Southampton, Hampton Bays, Westhampton and East Hampton. Montauk has a special place in my heart too. Local bay beach in Jamesport or Wading River offers amazing sunset and interesting landscape with the rocky shore.

Sunset beach family sessions are done exactly before the sunset. The small window right before the sun goes down creates the most magical and flattering light!

During a session with me I simply capture your family having fan time on the beach. I will give you simple to follow”posing”  instructions, however the focus is always on connections and emotions rather then the  perfect pose ;). Each family dynamic is also different and I simply don’t have one script that suits all during family sessions. Especially if young children are involved.

We simply go with the flow! We will play in the sand, build castles, jump in the water, kids will chase the parents and vice versa. In between all the fun I will ask you to hold your little one closer (or your spouse) and sneak in some snuggles.
