Why Should You Book One?

Cake smash photos offer a unique way to document your child’s growth over time. It helps capture all the different emotions that come with being one-year-old – from joy and excitement at taking that first bite of cake, to shock at how messy it can get! It also creates some wonderful mementos for you and your family which you can look back on fondly for years to come. Plus, if you use an experienced photographer who specializes in working with kids, then you can rest assured that your little one will be comfortable throughout the session and that your photos will reflect this natural ease and joy.

In addition to traditional cake smash photos, there are several other options you may want to consider including in order to create a comprehensive portrait package. Having portraits taken beforehand allows you to capture more traditional poses while still incorporating some element of fun into the shoot (think cute outfits or creative props!) If time permits, you might also want to consider adding a “bathtub photo session” at the end of the shoot which captures your baby playing in a tub filled with warm water (and bath bubbles!). This type of photo shoot is great for creating timeless images that emphasize connection – between parents and child – within each frame.
